Before And After

You see a lot of trainers taking videos of dogs in a heightened over threshold state to get a before video. I try not to do this. When a dog is overthreshold or highly reactive, their brain has shut down and cannot take on new infomation so the training session will take longer. If my videos do show this it is only for a short period before I start working with them.

Meet Max who is scared of new people

Before

This is Max before our training session. Max shows fear aggression towards visitors and will bark and lunge the whole time a visitor is at the home, this can sometimes last for hours. Max has bitten 6 people.

After

After working with Max for 10 minutes he is happy and relaxed and the owners cannot believe it.
I have not used correction or punishment. All I have used is positive reinforcement. Reinforcement needs to be done at the right time to have success, and the owners will continue with this whenever visitors come over.

Meet Ollie who is fearful of new people

Before

Ollie barks at all new people coming to the home.

After

This is Ollie after me working with him for about 10 minutes. There was no punishment or correction used.

Meet Roxy and Riley

Before

This is Roxy and Riley before our training session. Riley and Roxy did not like having their harness's put on and would hide. Riley was petrified and stood way back while I was trying to get him near it. After this video he went and hid under a table and did not come near the harness.

After

This is them after one training session. We worked out there was some trauma around the harness due to being pulled on in the car when it stopped suddenly. We chose to use new harness's and the training went well and the harness's were put on without any issues.

Meet Dexter, Hazel and Molly

Before

Dexter gets worried when going out the door with the other dogs, so he will growl and run to the door frame where there is a big hole now in the wood from him chewing on it.

After

We are doing some stay training at the door before the dogs are allowed to go out. This training switched Dexter brain from impulse to now thinking. They all go out the door much better and now no frustration from Dexter.
